Formal, easy to wear, and easy to wear again after the wedding.
Platino Groom · Wedding
The groom should stand out from the guests, without competing with the bride. Platino starts with your wedding concept, venue, timing and build, so the suit truly belongs to that day.
Before your consultation
Most grooms don't wear suits regularly. That's why Platino doesn't start with a jacket style, but with your wedding: where it's held, when, what the bride is wearing, and how you want to appear.
“I rarely wear suits.”
“Will this make me look old?”
“Does this color go with the bride's dress?”
“Can I wear it again after the wedding?”
01 · Groom styles
Each style is a starting point. Platino adjusts color, cloth and details to your wedding concept and build.
Classic and formal. Deep colors, a timeless cut, refined details.
Youthful and modern, with all the polish of a tailored suit.
Refined and luxurious. Waistcoat, texture and boutonnière used with intention.
A tuxedo for formal evening receptions, true to black-tie dress code.
Light and relaxed, suited to outdoor or resort weddings.
02 · Suit or Tuxedo?
When to choose
Daytime ceremonies, outdoor receptions or a lighter concept. Flexible in color and cloth.
Preferred colors
Navy · Midnight Blue · Charcoal · Brown / Earth tones for outdoor.
After the wedding
Chosen right from the start, it can go on to serve you at work, events and important meetings.
When to choose
Formal evening receptions, formal or black-tie occasions.
Features
Satin or grosgrain facings · Peak lapel or shawl collar · Trousers with matching formal details.
The black-tie formula
Black / Midnight Tuxedo · White tuxedo shirt · Black bow tie · Black formal shoes.
A tuxedo should never be seen as simply a black suit. For true black-tie dress code, never replace the bow tie with a business tie.
03 · Wedding suit colors
Formal, easy to wear, and easy to wear again after the wedding.
Deeper and more formal than navy.
Calm, mature and highly versatile.
Warm and natural for outdoor weddings.
For evening formal and black tie.
Coordinating with the bride & concept
The groom's attire harmonizes with the wedding dress — standing out from the guests without competing with the bride.
Indoors or outdoors, day or evening — these decide the cloth, color and level of formality.
The wedding concept guides the choice between suit and tuxedo, and between classic, modern or relaxed.

04 · Process
Understanding your wedding concept, venue, timing and the bride's attire.
Choosing cloth and color for the climate, time of day and re-wearability.
Measured in person, observing build, posture and movement habits.
Checking shoulders, chest, waist, sleeves, trousers and comfort in movement.
A full try-on with shirt, shoes and accessories before the big day.

before the wedding
A wedding suit needs time for the whole journey:
Measuring→Fitting→Alterations→Final fitting→Delivery
For multi-piece orders or special designs, prepare earlier. Let Platino know your wedding date when you book.
Platino won't deliver a garment simply because the date has arrived if the fitting hasn't met our standard.
05 · Wear it again
A wedding suit can serve long after the wedding if designed with versatility from the start. A finely tailored navy or charcoal suit can continue to accompany you:
If you want to wear it often, mention this at your first consultation.
